  • Tam O Shanter - Slyvania

Goalball is a team sport designed specifically for blind athletes. Participants compete in teams of 3, and try to throw a ball that has bells embedded in it into the opponent's goal. Teams alternate throwing or rolling the ball from one end of the playing field to the other, and players remain in the same area of their own goal for both defense and attack. Players must use the sound of the bell to judge the position and movement of the ball. Games will consist of two 7 minute halves. Eyeshades will be worn by all sighted or partially sighted players for competition.

Players must be 13+ years of age.

Team check in is from 10:30 to 11:00 am

Registration: $30 per team - All participants receive a souvenir shirt along with food and drink at the event.
