Down for the Ride Motorcycle Run
In 2015, a passionate father of a beautiful young girl (who, in addition to having a number of amazing qualities, also happens to have Down syndrome) created and hosted the very first Down for the Ride Poker Run fundraiser in the Greater Toledo area. This father's hope was to spread awareness throughout our community that people of all ages with Down syndrome are more alike than different, and are very deserving of our acceptance, love and respect.

This year, that vision is growing bigger and stronger. Join us in working toward raising much-needed funds to one day making our dream become a reality: to find a brick-and-mortar center, where children, teens and adults with Down syndrome can learn and grow together, and their families can feel more supported along the way.
Proceeds from Down for the Ride benefit the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Toledo, a 501(c)(3) organization that serves families residing in 17 counties throughout Northwest Ohio, as well as parts of Southeast Michigan. |
