Programs
Society 21DSAGT invites you to join the first social club exclusively for individuals with Down syndrome age 16 and up in Northwest Ohio. Join us once a month to take part in a fun organized activity, with the goal of building friendships, trying new experiences and finding ways to give back to our Northwest Ohio community. We look forward to getting to know new friends and creating new memories all throughout the year.

OpenSpot TheatreOpenSpot Theatre’s mission is to provide a fun, creative, and inclusive arts experience that is accessible to all people. Through their rehearsal and performance process, students will experience personal affirmation, empowerment, and build important life skills.
For 6-weeks our participants will explore the three pillars of theatre (singing, acting, and dancing), theatre games/activities, and for our younger students, life skills (eye contact, manners, etc). Each class is led by trained theatre professional and culminates in a live performance for family and friends at the end of the 6 weeks. The process of learning about the theatre and rehearsing a live show promotes teamwork, cooperation, belonging, work ethic, memory, leadership, social skills and maybe most importantly; it’s fun! |
